REMEDI8 decommissioning label can be placed over the affixed fire-rated label informing the public and AHJ’s of the change in purpose for the door.  The decommissioning label has adhesive on both ends to cover the affixed fire-rated label, but does not deface the label in case of future re-purposing as a fire-rated door on a fire or smoke barrier.

Application of Decommissioning Labels is contingent on approval of State and Local AHJ (Authority Having Jurisdiction).
